Returns, refunds and change of mind.
Please note: Refunds and returns are provided pursuant to Australian Consumer Law and do not affect your rights under said law.
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem.
This is when the item:
- has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
- is unsafe
- is significantly different from the sample or description
- doesn't do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can't be easily fixed.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.
If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.
Please keep your proof of purchase e.g. your receipt.
Freight
Goods are sent via Australia post registered mail and other courier companies. Items sent are not covered by insurance and Clipper World does not accept responsibility for any losses that may be incurred whilst goods are in transit. If items go missing we shall provide you with all relevant tracking information as confirmation of goods sent. If you wish your items to be insured, please contact us prior to payment and Clipper World will provide you with the extra charges.
Warranty
Clipper World can accept warranty work on Wahl, Double K, Heiniger, Aesculap & Lazor RX products, all other manufacturer warranty can only be covered by their warranty agents.
Clipper World can perform repairs on most other brands of clippers, dryers and other grooming equipment such as grooming tables and associated items. Please call us first if you are unsure before sending ANY repair work.
Our blade sharpening service is guaranteed provided items are returned within 7 days from when you received them and with your receipt/invoice.
Any goods sent out without payment being received remain the property of Clipper World until payment is received in full. Customers ordering from our online shop agree for us to send them marketing material.
Definitions
"User" means the person or entity using the website.
"Owner" means the company that owns the website, "www.clipperworld.com.au"
"Service Provider" means the company providing the website content management system and hosting services to the Owner for the website.
"Website" means "www.clipperworld.com.au"

Identification
The User warrants that they are either the person, or in the case of a corporation, an authorised representative of the corporation, that is named as the User in the registration form. It is a breach of this User agreement and also a misrepresentation with both potential civil and criminal consequences for a person to register as a User that they are not authorised to represent for this purpose.
Clipper World reserves the right at any stage to contact a User to confirm both the validity of the account and also the currency and security of the passwords used to access the website.
Unavailability
From time to time information that would normally be available through the site (including supplier's catalogs) may not be able to be accessed online because of technical or other problems. The Owner, and the Service Provider expressly excludes liability to any User of this site in respect of the unavailability of content regardless of whether or not this unavailability is caused by the negligence of the Owner or the Service Provider.
Privacy and Storage of your personal information
It is necessary for the Owner to capture information about you in order to provide the services offered through this website. The use of the information and your rights in respect of it is set out in the Privacy Statement on this Website. See below.
Pricing
Whilst all effort is made to keep pricing on this website up to date it is possible at times it may be out of date. As such prices on this website should only be considered as an "invitation to treat" rather than as an offer to provide these products at these prices. Your order and payment of goods will be deemed to be an offer and acceptance only happens when we accept the order. The website automatically sends you an order confirmation email. This email merely acknowledges that we have received your order but does not commit us to supply at the prices contained in the offer. Acceptance of your offer will be communicated manually.
Indemnity
The User agrees to indemnify the Owner and the Service Provider against any claim for loss or damage of any kind by any third party arising out of, or in relation to, the use of the Website by the User.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service (Terms and Conditions).
SECTION 4 - Straightsell Pty Ltd
Our store is hosted by Straightsell Pty Ltd. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Straightsell Pty Ltd's data storage, databases and the general Straightsell application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase e.g. PayPal, then you will be redirected to the respective online payment service's secure environment to complete your transaction. If you are using a credit card to complete your purchase then Straightsell stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
